I have never been a fan of Mar Roxas. Not until he moved aside and gave way for a Noynoy candidacy for the presidency last election. That, I think, is heroic act. Never mind the fact that he really did have any chance of winning it, it is still, very much, a class act worthy of admiration and emulation.
Now comes the result of the election : Binay wins, he loses. Double whammy : nagparaya na nga, natalo pa sa VP race. Eh sino bang may kasalanan, Binay campaigned to win, Roxas did not. Sabi pa ni Mar noon - our primary goal is for Noynoy to win. At eto na nga - Mar is going to file for a protest.
Mr. Palengke, the goal has been reached. Noynoy is now our President. Tapusin na natin ang lahat ng bagay na maaaring makapag-distract kay P-Noy. While it is true that it is your right and that P-Noy is supporting you in your protest, the fact is, this is distracting him(aminin man o itanggi). We all know how close the Aquinos are to the Binays.
The President, Mr Palengke, needs all the cooperation he can get from all sides. The President does not need enemies and discontent sprouting around him and this is exactly what you are doing, Mr Palengke.
Once again Mr. Palengke, the country needs you to sacrifice. Instead of tiring yourself with this protest, why not train your sight to 2016. Ayaw namin kay Chiz, lalo na kay Villar, (mahabagin!!!) 'wag naman si Jinggoy o si Bong. Ikaw na lang.

Imperial Media
Let's get to the point : I really think our media today has this imperialistic tendency. They have this attitude :
I am always right, even if I am wrong, I am still right. If I am wrong, so what? I don't need to right myself, for I am the MEDIA, I am powerful. You cannot do anything to me, if you do, I'll cry harassment. If you file charges against me, I'll shout repression.
Fairness? Go to the moon. Give me my take and you will be the most beautiful and the holiest person on Earth.
I am MEDIA, I am so humble, I am proposing that from now on, all media personnel, especially columnists and TV Media, shall be addressed with a prefix of "His/Her Royal Highness"
Am I seeing eyes glistening?

Wang-Wang!!! The President is breaking a law!!!
It is very commendable that President Noynoy is leading by example in showing us that we should be strictly following our laws, even the simplest ones. And the response from the people is encouraging - that they see P-Noy as among them and not above them.
One of the most applauded move of the new president is the non-use of "wang-wang". But this, I think, is a bad move. Let's get real. Traffic in Metro Manila is so congested, it will be a big headache for P-Noy. It may seem cute but, c'mon, you don't think it will serve the country good if our president is always late. It is not enough that he wakes up early to avoid the morning traffic, he will certainly need to go out and perform some duties in the afternoon and, in that case, traverse Metro Manila. He will never and can never avoid Metro Manila's traffic.
But more than giving importance to your time Mr. President, what's glaring here is that you are actually breaking the law. It is ironic that in trying to make us Filipinos follow laws, you are trying to do that by breaking a law. The law said you are exempted from it (along with the VP, CJ, Senate President and Speaker). Aren't you supposed to be following that exemption?
Ok, ok, ok, that's pretty corny, but, seriously Mr. P-Noy, the citizenry will understand if you will avail of this exemption knowing your time is very important. You only have six years to do what you have to do and you need every second of your term in order for your term to matter much in the lives of us Filipinos. Be like your father, our hero, Ninoy, who was always in a hurry for ther is not much time.
Use your "wang-wang' Mr. President for you are in a hurry.

Blogging
Blogging, for a loner like me, is like talking to yourself. You are actually expressing yourself to no one but yourself. This is because the chance of somebody finding your blog, to their misfortune, is quite slim. Unless, of course, you move around and advertise your blog, which is not my wont(silly me, bye-bye ads).
Blogging, for an ermitanyo like me, is like having a diary, jotting down emotions, opinions and all. Difference is that, in the conventional diary, you do not really want others to see and read what's inside(and broadcast them around, telling people how lunatic you are). But in blogging it's the opposite : you want others to find you, a big number of "others", primarily because this means $$$$.
Another of my reasons for blogging is that you can jot down clearly your feelings, your thoughts. Inside your head, it's just a jumble of emotions, like an eruption, thoughts are everywhere, you just cannot articulate clearly. In blogging, you are in command, writing down your thoughts in manner that will spread them out. You know which comes out first, then the next.
